Who We Are?

It all started when my 5 year old son found a rock in a neighbours yard and brought it to show me. He has always been interested in rocks. Every time we go to the river he wants to inspect all the river rocks and he uses some to build dams and cairns. The smoothest or most interesting ones will always make it back into our house.

The painted rock he found had been painted with paint pens with the message ‘Be Kind’ surrounded by flowers. We thought it was a great message from an unknown stranger that was delivered in a way that made us smile. My son wanted to paint rocks and hide them for others to find and enjoy.

We started painting and I became curious about who found them and where they traveled. I am a pilot and am interested in travel and destinations and always want to know where I’m headed and where I’ve been.

Being able to follow the journey our rock goes on seemed like a great idea.

Our mission is to bring an unexpected moment of joy to people who find our painted rocks and give us the ability to see where they travel and follow the moments of enjoyment that our rock finders post in the comment section when they find a rock.
